We’re happy to say: The new Whoop! Wizard is here. The Wizard gives our customers more decision and action possibilities, which they can do without our assistance. You want to roll out your Whoop! account and Google Shopping campaigns by yourself? Now it’s finally possible!

What’s new? The Wizard gives you the opportunity to set up your Whoop! account quick and easy on your own. You will get product-centric campaigns and ad groups with a Bid Management Tool, which adjusts the bids according to your goals, in the background.
How do you get to the Whoop! Wizard? With the sign-up form which you can find here. As soon as you make the sign-up, you will get into the first screen of the Wizard.
Here’s a quick overview of the steps to get through the Whoop! Wizard:
Step 1: Authorization Process
In the first step, you have to link your Google AdWords and Google Merchant Center Account with Whoop!. This is necessary for Whoop! to create the campaigns based on your data and to steer out your Shopping Ads.
This step can be a little bit complex, but don’t despair – we already have some FAQs to support you 🙂
Step 2: Choose your Target Country
The second step to do in the Wizard is to choose your target country. You can only proceed with a target country where active products are available.
Step 3: Check your AdWords settings and permissions
In this step, Whoop! is checking the validity of the selected accounts and the chosen target country. If the selected accounts and target country don’t meet the requirements of Whoop!, just choose a different account or target country.
Please note that our Bid Management Tool needs a data basis on which it can operate. If this data basis is not available, a trial is not possible. Feel free to contact our support for further details.
Step 4: Configure your Campaigns
This step is divided into the following sub-steps:
Step 4.1: Shopping Campaign and Ad Group Structure
Whoop! will create new Shopping Campaigns with an optimized structure in your account. You can choose out of a diverse set of structuring options based on your Product Feed.
You can choose the structure based on the following options:
Step 4.2: Pause your old Campaigns
To start the Whoop! Shopping Campaigns, you have to pause your existing Shopping Campaigns. You can do this automatically, which is recommended, or manually.
Step 4.3: Define a budget
The next step is to define a daily budget for the Shopping Campaigns.
Step 4.4: Choose your strategy
Furthermore, you have to set the general bid strategy. The general bid strategy will apply to all your products which are not covered by an advanced bid strategy. Note that you can change your bid strategies at any time. Which bidding strategies can be chosen? Minimum Return on Investment, Maximum Cost-Revenue-Ratio or Cost per Acquisition (CPA).
Step 4.5: Set a DefaultMaxCPC
If less than 10 conversions have been made in your AdWords account over the last 30 days, the Booting Mode will be activated. In this case, data basis is too small to make valid decisions on and the shopping ads are then controlled with the DefaultMaxCPC until sufficient data is available again.

Once the Whoop! Wizard has been successfully completed, you will be redirected to the summary screen. This means, that the generation and exporting of the campaigns with the appropriate bid has started.
